Conditions of Eligibility
  1. Eligibility - Only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all other territories) may apply. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submitting the Application. Employees, officers and directors of Grandparents.com (“Producer”),  Regent Seven Seas, Inc., and/or its subsidiaries, and RealTime Media, Inc. (collectively the “Program Entities”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and marketing agencies, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling or spouse) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to apply. The decisions of the Producer and Program Entities are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited by law.
  2. Required Releases - If selected as a potential participant or participant on the travel feature Grandest Adventures on Grandparents.com, you and every member of your family listed in this application must execute all waivers, release and consent agreements required by the Producer and/or Program Entities. In the case of minor children, their parent or legal guardians will have to execute such waivers, releases and consents on their behalf.
  3.  Availability for Rendering Performance - You and up to five (5) participating family members  (“Participants”) will be required to be available to travel from Seward, Alaska to Vancouver, B.C. on or about August 27, 2008 through September 3, 2008 to appear on Grandest Adventures.  Participants will receive air travel to Seward, Alaska from a major commercial airport nearest participants’ residence and returning air travel from Vancouver, B.C.  Participants will receive accommodations onboard the Regent's Seven Seas Mariner for 8-days/7-nights.  Filming will occur onboard the Seven Seas from Alaska to Vancouver British Columbia, Canada.  Participants must travel together on a single itinerary. 
  4. Application Due Date - Completed applications must be submitted via the Grandparents.com website (www.grandparents.com/gp/regent/index.html) no later than 12 p.m. EST on Friday, July 11, 2008. Unfortunately, we will not be able to verify that we have received your application. Grandparents.com is not responsible for lost, late or incomplete applications.
  5. Application Requirements - Applications will only be considered if they are complete.  Complete applications consist of an online application, including the submission of “The Family Information” and “The Family Story” essay and accompanying photo and optional video of the family. Video and photo should include all members of your family who, if selected, would be appear on Grandest Adventures with you, inclusive of grandparents, parents and grandchildren.    Applicant must obtain permission from the parent or legal guardian of each and every child included in submitted photo and video.  If chosen to participate, applicant must provide the Producer with the permission in writing.  

    PHOTO FORMAT MUST BE IN JPG OR GIF.  NOT TO EXCEED 6 MEGABYTES IN SIZE. VIDEO FORMAT MUST BE IN MOV OR WMV. VIDEO NOT TO EXCEED 2 MINUTES IN LENGTH AND 20 MEGABYTES IN SIZE.
  6. Application Materials - All materials you send (including DVDs, videotapes, photos and or/ any other media) will be retained by Grandparents.com, and become the property of Grandparents.com and will not be returned to you regardless or whether you are selected as a contestant. Any expenses you incur during the application process, including postage, shipping, materials preparation (videotape, photos, etc.), are your sole responsibility.  Grandparents.com will not reimburse you for these expenses. Only one entry per person is allowed. All decisions of Grandparents.com are final and absolute and not subject to inquiry. 
  7. Selection Process - The Producer and Program Entities have sole and absolute discretion in picking participants.
  8. Miscellaneous - Any federal, state or other tax liabilities that arise as a result of a participant appearing on Grandest Adventures shall be the sole responsibility of each participant.  All federal, state and local regulations will apply.
