The Sunoco® APlus®- Cruise Your Way to Savings Sweepstakes
Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Eligibility: The Sunoco®1 APlus®2 - Cruise Your Way to Savings Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States, excluding Colorado, who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees and retailers of Sunoco, Inc. (R&M) ("Sunoco"), Neiman Group, Inc., Royal Caribbean International, Realtime Media LLC, Passbox, LLC (collectively, “Promotion Entities”), and any of their respective parent and/or affiliate companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee or retailer are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void in Colorado, Puerto Rico and all other territories where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
  2. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on January 1, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET"), ends on February 29, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period"). Sponsor is the official time-keeper for the Sweepstakes.
  3. How to Enter: To enter the weekly Sweepstakes online, you must have a registered APlus Rewards card. If you have not registered your card, visit www.gosunocoaplus.com. There, you will be directed to a page to enter your card number and your email address. Upon registering your card, an email will be sent to the email address you entered asking you to click on the unique link to complete registration. You will be asked to complete your registration by entering your first name, last name, phone number, address, and date of birth. P.O. Boxes are not an acceptable mailing address and will be disqualified. You will also be asked to select your favorite Sunoco APlus store. Upon completing registration, you will earn one (1) sweepstakes entry.

    To earn additional entries: Visit a Sunoco APlus store during the Promotion period and purchase a product (or products) that are eligible for the current month’s APlus Rewards. (To find out which products are eligible, visit http://www.gosunocoaplus.com/aplus-rewards.aspx.) Upon check-out, swipe your registered APlus Rewards card. Limit: One (1) Sweepstakes entry per transaction. The purchase of multiple APlus Rewards eligible items will NOT result in multiple sweepstakes entries.

    To earn additional entries via Passbox, LLC (“Passbox”): register your Sunoco APlus Rewards Card at the sunoco.passbox.com website. Subject to meeting eligibility requirements, you will earn one (1) sweepstakes entry when you register. Additionally, subject to the limitation below, you will earn one entry each time you enter your mobile phone number into Passbox’s interactive tablet displayed in select Passbox-enabled stores. Standard text message rates may apply. Please check with your provider. Consumers will receive a confirmation text message. You agree that you are solely responsible for all message and data charges that you incur. All such charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Contact your participating mobile service provider for pricing plans, participation status and details. Limit: one (1) Passbox-enabled entry per calendar day, which resets at 12:00 a.m. ET. Passbox is serving as an additional method of entry, and therefore all Passbox-enabled entries will be subject to these Official Rules.

    LIMIT: Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry per person, per email address or per transaction. Any entries from the same APlus Rewards member that exceed the Sweepstakes entry limit stated above will be disqualified.

    OFFLINE, NO-PURCHASE-NECESSARY, METHOD OF ENTRY: As an alternate means of entry into the Promotion, send a 3 inch x 5 inch card on which you have legibly printed your First and Last Name, Complete Mailing Address (e.g. Street, City, State, ZIP code), Telephone Number, E-mail Address (if available). Place the card or paper in a #10 envelope, and mail to The Sunoco APlus - Cruise Your Way to Savings Sweepstakes, 295 E. Swedesford Rd, PO Box #104, Wayne PA 19087. No photocopies, reproductions or facsimiles allowed. Entries must be postmarked by February 29, 2012 and received by March 6, 2012. Multiple entries in the same envelope will be disqualified. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry via this means of entry, per person, per day for the duration of the promotion. More than one entry from the same person per day during the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified. Potential winners who are discovered during prize verification to have entered or attempted to enter more than once per day may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the judges.

    Sponsor is not responsible for any changes of mailing address of entrants. In the event of a dispute, Internet entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder at the time of entry. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Except as noted in these Official Rules, Promotion Entities will use information collected from entrants for the purpose of determining prize winners and to notify prize winners and to provide information on monthly and targeted special offers. Promotion Entities will not re-use, sell or share such information in any manner with any third parties. By entering the Promotion, you agree to all of the terms and conditions of Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.gosunoco.com/privacy.aspx. If you do not wish to receive any future information in your statements concerning Sunoco sweepstakes, please call 1-800-SUNOCO 1.
  4. Prizes, Drawings and Odds of Winning: Eight (8) Potential Sweepstakes winners will be selected in multiple electronic, randomized weekly drawing conducted from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. The weekly drawings will occur on or about the following dates: January 9, 2012; January 16, 2012; January 23, 2012; January 30, 2012; February 6, 2012; February 13, 2012; February 20, 2012; and March 1, 2012. Eight (8) GRAND PRIZES: Eight (8) Grand Prize Winners will be awarded a Royal Caribbean Cruise, subject to the terms and conditions in Royal Caribbean’s guest ticket cruise contract, Complimentary Cruise Certificate, and applicable brochure. Please see section 5 for further details.

    Approximate Retail Value (ARV) per Prize: $1,999.
    Total ARV of all prizes: $15,992.
  5. Winner Requirements: Prize consists of a 7-Night Caribbean cruise for two (2) aboard a Royal Caribbean International vessel (excluding Allure of the Seas.) Cruise includes all activities and food. Cruise provided subject to the terms and conditions in Royal Caribbean’s guest ticket cruise contract, Complimentary Cruise Certificate and applicable brochure. Such terms and conditions of use that are listed on these documents include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Cruise must be booked 21 days prior to sailing;
    • Sailing must be completed within 365 days of Certificate issue date;
    • Certificate only applicable to stateroom categories F, H, I, M, L, N, and Q. For Oasis of the Seas only, eligible stateroom categories are G, F, H, I, M, L, N, and Q.
    Stateroom category upgrades and 3rd and 4th guests in the stateroom can be booked for additional fees, based on availability. Cruise prize is subject to stateroom availability at time of booking. Winners and guests are responsible for all travel documents (such as a passport and visa) required for travel. Royal Caribbean is not responsible for flight postponement or cancellation. Winner and guests must travel at the same time on the same itinerary. No guest under 21 years of age will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by a person who is 21 years or older. A parent or legal guardian must accompany all guests under the age of 18. Married couples who do not meet these age restrictions may, at Royal Caribbean’s discretion, be permitted to sail. Winner and guests must sign Royal Caribbean’s passenger ticket contract prior to being allowed to board the cruise. Compensation will not be provided for any unused portions of any prize. Winner and guest are each solely responsible for any and all costs, other than those specifically stated in the Official Rules that may be incurred or arise as a result of being awarded a prize. Such costs may include, but are not limited to all federal, state, local, or other government or quasi-governmental taxes and fees, fuel supplement charges, travel insurance, any travel costs and items of a personal nature (i.e. shore excursions, passport fees, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, photographs, some entertainment, service fees, medical services, etc.). Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. Royal Caribbean International is not responsible for and will not replace lost, stolen or destroyed certificates. Approximate Retail Value: $1,999. Actual value will depend on selected dates of sailing.

    Limit of one (1) Sweepstakes Prize per person, per promotion duration. Prizes will be awarded only upon winner redemption, confirmation, verification and final approval by Sponsor. No substitution, transfer of any prize or cash alternative permitted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, if prize, or portion of prize, becomes unavailable. Potential Sweepstakes Prize Winners will receive a prize confirmation via electronic mail or phone. If the Prize Notification is returned undeliverable; or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit that prize. Potential Sweepstakes Prize Winners must respond to winning notification within ten (10) days of receipt of notification. The potential winner will be sent via email, United States Postal Mail and/or overnight mail an Affidavit of Eligibility/Compliance and Publicity/Liability Release forms (unless prohibited by law), a W9 form and a guest release form to be completed by his/her guest (if applicable). These forms must be completed, signed, notarized and returned to Realtime Media within ten (10) days of date of issuance. Once the potential Sweepstakes Prize Winner accepts, then and only then, will he/she become the “Winner.” If the potential winning entrant of the Sweepstakes Prize cannot be contacted; is ineligible; fails to claim the prize; if the Prize Notification is returned undeliverable, or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner. All decisions of the Promotion Entities shall be binding and final.

    Prize is not transferable and may not be given, bartered, sold, or exchanged for cash or for another prize, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion due to prize unavailability for any reason and then only for a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with the Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Royal Caribbean.
  6. Winner Notification / Release Potential winner will be notified within three (3) days of the drawing. Winners, by participating in sweepstakes and acceptance of a prize, agrees to release Sunoco® APlus®, Royal Carribean Cruise Lines and Promotion Entities and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional or judging agencies, and each of their respective shareholders, officers, directors, members, employees, agents and assigns (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes if it is tampered with or corrupted in any manner and in the event of cancellation, prizes will be awarded via a random drawing to be conducted from all eligible entries received as of the date of cancellation. Except where prohibited by law, winner must consent to the use of his/her name, voice, picture or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes in all media as determined by Sponsor.
  7. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each winner’s consent to the Sponsor and its agents’ use of winner’s name, prize, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
  8. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
  9. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the spotting of Decals, the capturing or transfer of winner information or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, provided that, if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.
  10. Tax information: All federal, state, local and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner.
  11. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action and exclusively by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  13. Winner List: To receive the list of winners, send a #10 self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by April 15, 2012 to: The Sunoco® APlus - Cruise Your Way to Savings Sweepstakes, c/o Realtime Media LLC, 40 Morris Ave, Suite 300, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
